Terms of Service

Last updated and effective: June 15, 2026

Welcome to Nauta. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) explain the rules for using Nauta, a Discord bot made for Minecraft communities to save, organize, fetch, and calculate server coordinates.

By adding Nauta to a Discord server, using Nauta commands, or otherwise interacting with Nauta, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Nauta and remove it from your server.

1. Who Can Use Nauta

You may use Nauta only if you are allowed to use Discord and meet Discord’s minimum age requirements in your country. You are also responsible for following Discord’s Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Developer policies, and any rules set by the Discord server where Nauta is used.

2. What Nauta Does

Nauta helps Minecraft servers manage coordinate related information. Depending on the commands and settings available in a server, Nauta may let users:

  • Store Minecraft coordinates, names, aliases, dimensions, and related command inputs.
  • Fetch saved coordinates.
  • Find nearby saved coordinates.
  • Delete coordinate data when they have the required server permissions.
  • Use other Minecraft server utility features that we may add over time.

Nauta is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Discord, Mojang, or Microsoft.

3. Server Owner and Administrator Responsibilities

Server owners and administrators are responsible for deciding whether Nauta should be used in their server and who should be allowed to use its commands.

You are responsible for configuring Discord roles, channel permissions, command permissions, and any Nauta settings in a way that fits your community. If a user with permission adds, changes, fetches, or deletes coordinate data, that action is considered authorized within that server unless you tell us otherwise.

Coordinate data can reveal in-game locations such as bases, farms, portals, or other Minecraft locations. You are responsible for deciding what should be saved, who can see it, and whether it is appropriate for your server.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Nauta to:

  • Break any law, Discord rule, or our own Terms.
  • Harass, threaten, target, or harm another person or community.
  • Submit personal data, real world addresses, private contact details, passwords, tokens, or any other sensitive information inside coordinate names, aliases, notes, command inputs, or other Nauta fields.
  • Spam commands, overload the bot, abuse rate limits, or disrupt Nauta’s infrastructure.
  • Attempt to access, modify, delete, or export data you are not allowed to access.
  • Reverse engineer, exploit, attack, or bypass any security, permission, or access-control feature.
  • Misrepresent Nauta, impersonate the developers, or use Nauta in a deceptive way.
  • Use Nauta or Discord API data for scraping, profiling, advertising, data brokerage, or machine learning training.

We may restrict, suspend, or block access to Nauta if we believe the bot is being misused or if continued access could create risk for users, servers, Discord, or Nauta.

5. Coordinate Data and User Content

When you submit information through Nauta, such as a coordinate name, alias, dimension, note, or location, you remain responsible for that content.

You confirm that you have the right to submit that content and that it does not violate these Terms, Discord’s rules, or your server’s rules.

By submitting content to Nauta, you give us a limited permission to store, process, display, and transmit that content only as needed to provide Nauta’s features, maintain the service, protect users, and comply with legal obligations.

Nauta does not guarantee that saved coordinates are accurate, current, complete, or safe to visit in-game. Coordinates can change as servers can reset the information and other users may modify locations.

6. Privacy and Data

Nauta’s Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how it is used, and how deletion works. By using Nauta, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.

We use data only as needed to provide and maintain Nauta, protect the service, troubleshoot issues, and comply with applicable obligations. We do not sell Discord API data.

If Nauta is removed from a server, server data may be deleted according to the deletion period described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Service Availability

Nauta is provided as a free service. We try to keep it useful and available, but we do not promise that it will always be online, error-free, fast, or available in every server.

We may update, limit, suspend, remove, or discontinue any part of Nauta at any time. This may include but is not limited to commands, storage limits, permission behavior, integrations, or support for older features.

We are not responsible for lost coordinate data, downtime, Discord outages, database provider issues, Minecraft server changes, or other events outside our reasonable control.

8. Free Service and Future Features

Nauta is currently free. Unless separate written terms say otherwise, supporting Nauta in the future will not give you ownership of Nauta, its code, name, branding, infrastructure, or permission to bypass these Terms.

9. Intellectual Property

Nauta’s name, branding, bot specific content, website text, documentation, and original code belong to its creators or licensors.

Some parts of the website may be based on open source templates, libraries, or other third party materials. Those parts remain owned by their respective authors and are used under their own licenses.

You may use Nauta normally through Discord as allowed by these Terms, but you may not copy, sell, rebrand, or claim ownership of Nauta’s name, branding, bot, or original content without permission.

If you send us ideas, bug reports, feedback, or feature suggestions, you allow us to use them without owing payment, credit, or other compensation.

10. Termination

You may stop using Nauta at any time by no longer using its commands or by removing it from your server.

We may suspend or terminate access to Nauta for any user or server at any time if we believe:

  • These Terms have been violated.
  • Nauta is being abused or used in a risky way.
  • Discord requires or requests action.
  • We need to protect Nauta, its users, its developers, or its infrastructure.
  • We stop operating Nauta or a specific feature.

Termination may result in loss or deletion of stored data. By terminating your access, we may in any way restrict, block, or suspend any feature of our service to the specific user or group.

11. Disclaimers

Nauta is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Nauta is a utility bot for Minecraft communities. It is not a backup service, security service, moderation service, legal service, or emergency service. Do not rely on Nauta as your only copy of important information.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost data, lost profits, server disruption, in-game losses, or loss of access to Nauta.

Because Nauta is currently free, our total financial liability for any claim related to Nauta will not exceed 10 EUR, to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Some places do not allow certain liability limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

13. Indemnification

If your use of Nauta causes a claim, dispute, loss, liability, damage, cost, or expense because you violated these Terms, broke the law, misused the service, or submitted content you did not have the right to submit, you agree to defend and hold harmless Nauta and its creators to the fullest extent allowed by law.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above.

If a change is important, we may also provide notice through the website, Discord, or another reasonable method. Continuing to use Nauta after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Contact

For questions, concerns, deletion requests, or reports related to Nauta, contact Average or Pipo through the Discord profiles linked on the About page.
